Theta Beta Chapter at Georgia State University

Letter From Recruitment Chair

Letter From Recruitment Chair

Hello!

My name is Lauren Van Atta and I am the Membership Director for the Theta Beta chapter of Phi Mu Fraternity here at Georgia State. I am so excited for fall recruitment and for you to learn more about Phi Mu and Greek Life here at GSU.

Phi Mu is a wonderful opportunity to make lifelong friends, impact the community through philanthropic events, become a leader on campus, and so much more. Sisters of Phi Mu continue to connect long after their collegiate years are over. Phi Mu is not just four years, Phi Mu is for a life time.

Phi Mu is based on the three values --- love, honor, and truth. The bond that connects my sisters and I cannot be broken. We look to each other for support when we're down, for a laugh when we need it, for a shoulder to cry on, or for encouragement when we question our own abilities. These girls are not just my sisters in Phi Mu, they are my best friends.

Our chapter has been hard at work this summer planning fun and rewarding social, philanthropy, and sisterhood activities for this fall. In 2019, we welcomed 27 new girls to our chapter, and we cannot wait to keep our sisterhood growing!

Take a look at our website to get to know our chapter better and see what we are all about. If you have any questions regarding recruitment please email me at thetabetamembership@gmail.com or contact the Georgia State Panhellenic office. (greeklife.gsu.edu)

We wish you the best of luck, and cannot wait to meet you in September and help you find your home here in the heart of Atlanta!

In Our Bond,

Lauren Van Atta
